Families across Fort Wayne deserve autism care that fits into real life. B Above Services delivers compassionate, evidence-based ABA therapy and autism diagnostic evaluations in your child’s natural environment: at home, at school, and in the community, wherever they learn and grow best. Every child and every family deserves to feel truly seen, deeply supported, and understood.
Skills learned in a clinic don’t always come home. Our Natural Environment approach flips that: because therapy happens in the real settings where your child lives and learns — at home, at school, and out in the community — learning happens in everyday life instead of staying behind in a therapy room. We meet your child where they are and build support around your family’s real routines and goals.
Because we work in the places your child already spends their days, the people who matter most are part of the process. Our clinicians coach parents and caregivers in real time — during the everyday moments where skills actually take hold — so the strategies that work don’t leave when we do. You become more confident using these strategies in everyday routines, not just during sessions.
We support the whole family through every stage of the journey:
Comprehensive evaluations for children and teens, guiding families from assessment to clear next steps as quickly as possible.
Personalized ABA therapy delivered where your child lives and learns; at home, school, and in the community.
Supportive group sessions that build confidence and connection for children, with guidance and community for parents.
A free partnership with schools & families, offering developmental screenings, training, and trusted support when concerns arise.
If you’re noticing signs, our licensed clinical psychologist (HSPP) takes the time to understand your child’s full developmental profile through a warm, comprehensive evaluation, so you leave with real answers and clear next steps. One thing many Fort Wayne families don’t realize: Fort Wayne Community Schools, Northwest Allen County Schools, or Southwest Allen County Schools may evaluate a child and provide classroom support, but a school’s educational evaluation is not a medical diagnosis and won’t, on its own, unlock insurance or Medicaid coverage for ABA. In Indiana, a medical autism diagnosis must come from a qualified professional, such as a physician, psychiatrist, or licensed psychologist (HSPP). At B Above, every evaluation is completed by a licensed clinical psychologist (HSPP), and you’ll receive a formal diagnosis and written report you can use for insurance or Medicaid.
We bring in-home ABA therapy and autism services to families across Fort Wayne and Allen County — including Aboite Township, Wayne Township, Perry Township, and Jefferson Township — as well as neighborhoods like West Central, Downtown, Southwest, Northside, and the areas along State Boulevard and Coventry Lane. We also serve the surrounding communities, including New Haven, Huntertown, Leo-Cedarville, and Grabill. If you’re in or around Fort Wayne, reach out — we’ll let you know how we can support your family.
Indiana’s autism insurance mandate requires most state-regulated health plans to cover ABA therapy. Many plans and Indiana Medicaid cover ABA. We verify your benefits and explain any costs before services begin. We accept most major plans, including Aetna, Anthem BCBS, Optum, Cigna, and MHS, as well as Indiana Medicaid.
